The final cost of your outdoor lighting system depends on factors such as the type of lights chosen (LED, solar, or traditional), the complexity of the installation, and the size of the property. LED lights, while more expensive upfront, can offer long-term savings on energy and maintenance costs.

A Low Voltage system with a transformer is essential for landscape lighting for several reasons:

*Safety and Energy Efficiency: low voltage systems operate at 12-24 volts as compared to the standard 120-volt systems and consume up to 90% less electricity.
* Flexibility and Ease of Installation: low voltage installations do not require a licensed electrician and 18" of depth coverage thereby reducing energy output, labor, and less disruption of your landscape.

On/Off times are controlled by photocell, timers, or a combination of both.

Our preference is an automated system using both a photocell and a timer. This allows the home or business owner's lighting system to turn on at Dusk and turn off at a set time every night.

The amount of time needed to install your outdoor lighting system will depend on the size and scope of your project. Small to medium sized jobs typically take only one day to install. The larger and more intricate the job the more time it will take.

No, we will not use a large trencher. We use a spade, or sharp shooter, to run most of the cables. Only when we feel it necessary will we introduce a trench style pick in order to dig further down. Our goal at every project is to minimize the disruption of your landscaping as if we were never there.
